Let assistants list Linear issues and draft new ones. Creating an issue runs on its own.

On this page

Linear is where your team's issues live. Connect it and assistants can read your backlog, then write up a new issue with acceptance criteria when a bug or idea turns up.

Create issuesRuns on its own

Setup#

  1. In Linear, create a personal token that can read and create issues.
  2. Open Integrations and pick Linear.
  3. Paste the token and press Connect.
  4. Tell the assistant which team to use, as the team key (for example "ENG").

Permissions#

In plain words, the token needs to:

  • Read issues on your team.
  • Create issues, so assistants can file what they find.

It does not need to delete issues or manage members.

Good to know#

  • Creating an issue runs on its own. Commenting on an issue waits for your Approve. See approvals.
  • Assistants work against one default team, which you choose.
  • Your token stays with your StellarFirm workspace and is never shown back to you. The page shows only that it is connected.
